Discipline

The school takes a very serious view of indiscipline. If there is a breach of discipline by a student, the student will face appropriate disciplinary action as per school policy. A student is expected to be polite and well-mannered towards his/her teachers and fellow students at all times. No misbehaviour in or out of the classroom is tolerated. Any of the following could result in a student being suspended from classes or he/she may be asked to leave the school -

• Physical violence of any kind inside or outside the school
• Bullying a fellow student
• Wanton destruction of school property
• Unruly behaviour in class leading to disruption of a lesson
• Smoking/Drinking inside or outside the campus
• Repeated absence from school
• Carrying of mobile phones to/in school

Regularity

The CBSE conducts a regular course of study and all students are to maintain at least 80% attendance through the term. In case a student falls short of attendance the following actions may be taken:

• Barred from taking Examination / Tests.
• Suspension from School

The school will consider lack of attendance on the following grounds:

Medical Grounds: If a student is seriously ill then the school must be informed about the same and the following documents must be submitted to the school office:

• A Medical Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner
• Photocopies of all Medical Tests

Death of an Immediate Relative: A student may be granted leave for attending the funeral rites of a near relative. The information of the same must be communicated to the school

Extra Ordinary Circumstances: Unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances sometimes cause a student to be absent. Again, information about the same must be communicated to the school. If the student is out of station, a phone call must be made to the school office and a registered letter be sent with relevant documents.

In case a student is absent for a test/exam with sufficient cause, the school will consider the year's performance to decide on promotion/detention of the student.

Any student who is absent for three or more days must furnish a medical certificate. Absence during the term for frivolous reasons will be dealt with severely. Attendance in the week before the commencement of an examination is compulsory.

A student may take leave for a Marriage Ceremony in the family.
This applies only to marriages of:

• Immediate Maternal/Paternal Uncle or Aunt
• Real Brother or Sister

* Note : No leave will be granted for a marriage ceremony when the end of the term exams are being held.

Rules For Fees

The following is to be kept in mind regarding the school fee:

• The fee must be paid into the school account with Axis Bank (depending on which class the student is admitted in) by the 10th of each month. A late fee will be charged from students who pay their fee after the 15th of the month.
• Any student who defaults on the payment of fees for more than two months shall have his/her name struck off the school rolls.
• All school fees and bus fee (in case of a student using the school bus for transport) of a student should be paid before the commencement of any test/exam. If the fee is not clear, the student shall not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• Please note that school fees will be revised at the beginning of each academic session.
• Additional charges for educational trips, school magazines, and special functions will be intimated to parents through a notice.
• The Security Fee is refundable provided the student does not cause any wanton breakage or damage of school property.

Any misdemeanour of such kind will lead to a student forfeiting the whole of the Security Fee.
